Who I Am

National University of Health Sciences, FL campus - Doctor of Chiropracitc

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill - B.A. Exercise and Sport Science, Fitness Professional

Although Dr. Chris recognized his clear passions for both working with his hands and helping others live healthier lifestyles, he found himself hungering for more. He attended National University of Health Science’s satellite campus in Saint Petersburg, Florida where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and achieved an award for contributions of service to the Pinellas County community.

Dr. Chris has additional certifications in instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) through FAKTR and in kinesiology and strap taping methods through FTMI. Dr. Chris is married with two sweet little girls. He enjoys trail running, hiking, and generally immersing himself in nature. Dr. Chris also enjoys small home DIY projects and volunteering his time cleaning up state and community parks. He is both a cat and a dog person with one of each and plans for more. He is well traveled having been to multiple countries in North, Central, and South America, Europe, and Africa. Although no longer fluent in German, Dr. Chris still enjoys it conversationally.

Using chiropractic to bring mobility to fixated joints, Dr. Chris enjoys relieving suffering from his patients and helping guide them towards decisions that will help keep them moving longer. He encourages his patients to remember that the human body is exceptional at meeting and overcoming new stimuli – so feed it good food and introduce it to new movements, new activities, new people, and pursuing things that bring you joy. He also wants to remind his patients that while the human body is amazing, you only get one! So keep yourself conditioned so that your body will be prepped and ready to meet all the new challenges you throw at it!

Who I Am

Education: Texas Chiropractic College

Dr. David Aguilar has a Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Neurology. He studied chiropractic at Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, TX. After practicing in New York, NY and Brooklyn, NY, he moved back to Texas and settled in Austin.

Dr. Aguilar’s hobbies include photography and spinning wool into yarn. He is also an aquarium enthusiast, owning several freshwater fish. He also likes traveling and camping with his family. According to Dr. Aguilar, getting married and having a child is by far the coolest thing he has done in his life. “There is no event in my life that brought me such joy and elation. There is no part of my life that has brought me such an understanding of who I am and who I can become.” -Dr. Aguilar

If Dr. Aguilar could throw a perfect dinner party, he would use the opportunity to get answers to questions we have all had at one point or another. He would invite the architect of Stonehenge, the designers of the Nazca lines in Nazca, Peru and Plato. Why were these things built and what really happened to the lost city of Atlantis?
